Jason wanted to help his church’s youth group be better equipped to lead worship. However, schedules and the sheer number of students that needed help soon overwhelmed him. That is when he decided to start mentoring them through video courses.

It worked, and youthworshiptraining.com was born.

Jason is a worship leader who got his start at 14 in his youth group. Now, with two decades of experience, he has studied and practiced worship leadership extensively while always working with the next generation of leaders.

He is passionate about developing a strong and authentic relationship with Jesus and allowing that relationship to influence how a student leads others. 

He knows all the challenges that come with leading worship, organizing a band, working with a tech team, working with a youth leader, and managing relationships with peers as you try to lead them. 

He knows that despite these challenges, worship leadership can be one of the most fulfilling ways to serve a youth group and the church. His prayer is that no student feels like they need to face these challenges alone and that God would richly bless those who take up the challenge to lead others in worship.
